At Orenshaw Designer Homes, we believe building your dream home should be an exciting, transparent, and stress-free experience. That’s why we’ve honed a process that’s all about collaboration, clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

CUSTOM DESIGN
Following an initial design fee based on your overall budget and ideas, we will connect you to one of our talented architects or designers to craft a home which suits your lifestyle perfectly. During this stage, we consult with both you and the architect or designer to ensure that every detail aligns with your vision and maximises your site’s potential.
QUOTING
Once your plans are finalised, or if you already have suitable plans, we will prepare a detailed constrution proposal with a comprehensive quote. This document is around 30 to 40 pages and details every single aspect of the build, in meticulous detail. There is a nominal quoting fee for this thorough preparation, which is deducted from the build cost.
FINAL INSPECTION AND HANDOVER
As your new home nears completion, we carry out a meticulous inspection to ensure every element meets our exacting standards. We go beyond minimum building codes – because true quality demands more. Your satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re not finished until you’re completely happy and ready to step into a home where memories will be made.
APPROVALS AND DOCUMENTATION
Under a preliminary agreement, we prepare building approvals and all necessary documentation for construction, including engineering, soil reports, surveys, etc. This can also be done following the quoting stage, but we usually recommend proceeding with a preliminary agreement early in the building process, as it ensures a more accurate quote and minimises delays.
CONSTRUCTION
Once the construction contract is signed, your vision begins to take shape. From the first pour of the slab to the frame being raised, and then the intricate finishing touches – there’s nothing quite like witnessing the excitement of our clients as their dream home comes to life. Every stage is carried out with precision and care, backed by our extensive experience to ensure the process feels smooth and stress-free.
